Children’s author to speak
Kate Parkhurst will share her new children’s picture book, “The Invasion of the Cavity Creatures” at the South Lake Tahoe library on July 27.
This story illustrates the importance of oral hygiene. The characters take readers on an adventure through Tongue Town as they fight off the Cavity Creatures that have invaded their precious Molar Mountains.
The free event put on by Friends of the Library is at 11am at the South Lake Tahoe Library, 1000 Rufus Allen Blvd., South Lake Tahoe.
Books will be available for purchase.
