Jennifer Quashnick, local author, will talk about her first novel “Sierra Nevada Trail of Murder” from her Mountaingirl Mysteries series on Nov. 18 at 6pm.

The premise: Chased by a killer, Rachel Winters, her dog Bella, and private investigator Luke Reed must uncover a deep-rooted environmental conspiracy stretching across multiple state lines.

Quashnick will sell and sign books following the free talk at the South Lake Tahoe Library, 1000 Rufus Allen Blvd.
