Lake Tahoe News is interested in hearing what you have to say, receiving news tips, story ideas, photographs, letters, columns and event information.

It is up to the discretion of Lake Tahoe News as to what gets published. Lake Tahoe News reserves the right to edit any content. Incomplete information/forms will be deleted and sender will not be contacted.

All letters must have the author’s name and hometown, which will be published along with the letter. A phone number is requested to verify the letter writer wrote the letter, but the number will not be published. Don’t bother submitting a form letter, ones that are libelous or have profanity.

For events, please make sure the basic Who, What, Where, When, Why and How are included. A contact number, email address and/or website are helpful for readers, so is the cost of the event. A lengthy press release is not needed for calendar submissions.

For columns, please submit a photo of the author or some other relevant art rendering. All columns must have who the author is at the end of the article. Feel free to provide a contact number or email for readers.

For photographs, please include who should receive credit for the photo(s), and caption information that includes what the photo is about, when it was taken, where and who is in it. The more details you have, the better. Also, please make sure your upload is less than 8MB.
