Tahoe app designed to be ‘concierge in your pocket’

Big Blue Concierge of South Lake Tahoe just released its “Concierge in Your Pocket” app for locals, visitors and vacation home owners in the Lake Tahoe Basin.

The app includes hiking and biking trails, historical venues, dog friendly locations, homeowner services such as plumbers and electricians, restaurants, happy hours, discounts, shops, rentals, wedding vendors and more.

There is also a locals’ point-of-view blog on the app.

Paula Peterson, owner of Big Blue Concierge, has lived in South Lake Tahoe for 34 years.

The app can be found on the iTunes App Store under “bigbluec” and in the Google Play Store for Androids at “big blue concierge.”

    Very limited.
    How do businesses get mentioned? If they advertise?
    How can you have nothing about water experience? Tahoe Queen, ski Run Boat Company, Tahoe Sportfishing?

    South Tahoe’s most popular restaurant the Riva Grill is barely mentioned at the end of a long list of lesser known restaurants.
    For wedding no mention of the most popular wedding cake maker The Flour Girl.
    But it is a good start

    Hi Mansoor, Thank you for your comments and I welcome all suggestions. There is so much to cover and I wanted to get all of the beaches, hiking trails, fishing spots, forest service and historical spots, bike trails and free things to do in first and now I’m going in and putting in businesses that offer services. Yes, the businesses with listings already on the app have joined me by sponsoring to cover costs of the app. I am going business to business and will be stopping by Ski Run Marina soon :).
