·      Lights on the Lake is a 25-minute fireworks shows on July 4 shot off from near Edgewood Tahoe. The show will begin at 9:45pm, with simulcast on radio stations KRTL–93.9-FM and KOWL-AM 1490.

·      Starting June 11, CalFire will suspend all burn permits for outdoor residential burning within the state responsibility area of Amador, El Dorado, Sacramento and Alpine counties.
