Pacific Legal Foundation rep to speak at SOJ meeting

John Cameron will be the guest speaker at the El Dorado County State of Jefferson (SOJ) meeting on June 12 at the American Legion Hall, 4561 Greenstone Road in Placerville.

Cameron is the Pacific Legal Foundation’s liberty society manager. Since 1973, Pacific Legal Foundation  has successfully litigated for limited government, private property rights and free enterprise in the nation’s highest courts. PLF has had nine victories in their 11 cases heard before the U.S. Supreme Court.

Cameron and his associate will touch on regulatory issues and property rights, as well as some of PLF’s historic cases.

SOJ meetings are open to the public and admission is free. Social hour, which includes food, is from 5:30 to 6:30pm. The meeting begins at 6:30pm.

State of Jefferson meetings are the second Tuesday of each month, always at the same date time and location.
