Alexander Paul Childs

A registered sex offender who was last living in Meyers is wanted by El Dorado County sheriff’s deputies.

Alexander Paul Childs, 25, reportedly cut off his ankle monitoring device.

He had told people that he wanted to go to Sacramento.

Childs was convicted in 2012 of lewd or lascivious acts with a child under the age of 14.

He is 5-feet-7, 140 pounds, brown hair, with hazel eyes.
