Jill Stanton-Bricker
Jill Stanton-Bricker, age 48, of South Lake Tahoe, passed peacefully on Nov. 9, 2016, with her family by her side.
Jill loved Tahoe and called it home for over 20 years; after growing up in a town near Cleveland, Ohio, and attending Bowling Green University. She enjoyed skiing and adventuring, both the beaches and the mountains.
She was a great mother and friend, who could make anyone laugh. She made many strong bonds with people, as she was a very friendly person. You could sense her presence when she walked into a room due to her outgoing personality. Jill could turn a serious situation into one filled with laughter and smiles. She impacted many people’s lives for the better.
Jill is survived by her daughters, Korinne and Ashley; brother, Tim; parents, Nancy and Jack; ex-husband, Scott; along with nieces, nephews, uncles, aunts, cousins, and many loving friends.
The family appreciates the dedicated service and staff of the Reno’s Renown Regional Medical Center. A private serve is to be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Jill’s memory to Lake Tahoe Wildlife Care or Protect our Winters.
We will always carry your spirit in our hearts. We love you, Jill.
Jill you’ve left us with a lovely legacy.. two amazing young woman, your bright and lovely daughters ..and tremendous group of fans, friends and family.. yes we miss you and grieve your absence on the physical .. but know that you are romping around with those who we love and have passed before you.. who welcome you home and embrace you as we do..

Dear “J”, To my favorite big sister in the whole wide world. I was blessed to have you as my sister. Never a dull moment, right.
I’ll never forget…and hold close in my heart, all the good times, the wonderful memories. You always led the way…and I would follow. Whether it be skiing in Heavenly or Kirkwood, apres ski for a beer at California Bar, hiking up by Emerald Bay, or most of all…seeing how you raised two beautiful, strong and successful daughters.
We’ve had an tremendous outpouring of love and support from family and friends…a lot of friends. You touched so many lives…and had a unique ability to befriend anybody…with your beautiful smile, blue eyes, crazy hair (any style), chatter and laugh that could fill a room, and a genuine heart.
Thank you for being my sister. I love you and miss you dearly. Have some fun in Heaven…and save a good spot for me because I’ll be following you again.
