Accident closes Hwy. 50 in Meyers

A multi-vehicle accident is blocking both lanes of Highway 50 in Meyers.

Caltrans said the road should be open just after 5pm July 26.

“There were minor injuries and they are waiting for tow trucks and ambulances,” Caltrans spokesman Steve Nelson told Lake Tahoe News.

The accident occurred just before near the gun mount at the base of Echo Summit.
