3 people rescued from Desolation Wilderness
By Bill Lindelof, Sacramento Bee
A CHP helicopter crew and rescue personnel with mountain climbing experience had to be called upon the get three young people from Sacramento off a rocky Sierra Nevada outcropping.
The El Dorado County Sheriff’s Office got a cell phone call for help in the early morning hours Saturday from the three stranded hikers. They were on a ledge in the Desolation Wilderness and could not safely go up or down.
All three were cold but did not have major injuries.
Once again, tourists out of their element.
Have you seen the footage of where they were rescued!?!? MORONS. It’s like they tried to get stuck. Absolutely where they shouldn’t have been. I reallllllllly hope they are paying for their rescue. Stay in Sac you idiots.
Yeah and just because you live here, you never screw up and also very fortunately, if you do live here, you never travel and become a tourist out of your element.
You got to love one of the most identifying characteristics of a Tahoe resident: xenophobia
Bill these fools 10k each for starters. THAT sends the correct message.
