While you do this “free service” they will also be doing warrant checks on your baby. “Stop resisting baby!” Bang Bang.

This is such a worthwhile service! I have read that as many as 75% of car seats are incorrectly installed and in a crash, this can mean the difference between life or death.

Some may think that parents should just do the work and get the seats installed themselves but that can be more easily said than done. Installation directions can be ridiculous. When I had one installed in my car, it took a large CHP officer to put his weight on the seat until it clicked into the infrastructure behind the seat of my car.

If you have installed one yourself, it wouldn’t hurt to have it double checked by someone certified to do this correctly.
