zawadisha• Zawadisha’s third annual Holiday Bazaar is Nov. 29 from 10am-3pm at Bona Fide Books HQ in Meyers.

• There is a teen writing group every Saturday at 3pm at the South Lake Tahoe Library. For more info, go online.

• Sugar Bowl will be opening for the season Nov. 26.

• Lt. Bryan Golmitz will be in charge of the Tahoe office for El Dorado County Sheriff’s Department when Lt. Pete Van Arnum retires at the end of the year. This is a temporary assignment.

• Schaffer’s Mill Golf Club in Truckee will host the Gene Upshaw Memorial Golf Classic on July 12-13.

    Please include news about new local businesses. I am a part-time resident and I like to know about the changing face of South Lake Tahoe, including closings, new restaurants and businesses.

    I love the “Then and Now” articles.
