S. Tahoe council candidates to gather one more time

Small World is sponsoring a meet and greet with the five South Lake Tahoe City Council candidates on Oct. 22.
It will be at 6:30pm at 2191 Shasta Court.
Four of five candidates have confirmed.
There will be about a 45-minute segment for questions from Small World members and other attendees.
Thank you, Rebecca, for all your work putting this together. It is important for people to have as many opportunities as possible to become informed.
Where the heck is Shasta Court?
I still can’t figure out why Fortier hasn’t quit and her position placed on the November ballot for the public to choose a new member. Everyone is aware she is leaving town. I’ve heard rumors it is because she or the City wants the Council to make the decision after the election instead of the public. If this is the case I feel this is a major injustice for the public. Could someone confirm what is really going on here?
Earl, Shasta is off of Texas which is off of Tahoe Keys Blvd. Go down Keys blvd. like your headed to the lake . Make a left at Texas ave. Texas is a big loop and Shasta is off of Texas.

Bob, To date, she has not resigned or officially laid out her plans. Perhaps she does not know when she is leaving.
Funny we have had a MEET & GREET set for about a month at STEAMERS from 6 to 8 on OCT.23rd.and because of the conflict with Embassy Suite on that date there will also be a meet & GREET at TAQUERIA JALISCO on the 25th between 6 to 8 pm. Hope to see you all there.
