· Lake Tahoe Community College’s budget development team earned the distinguished budget presentation award from the Government Finance Officers Association for the 2015-16 budget.

· South Tahoe Public Utility District board of directors will be having a public hearing on the budget May 12 from 6-7:30pm at the district, 1275 Meadow Crest Drive, South Lake Tahoe. The board will take action on the budget May 19 at 2pm at its regular meeting.
· The ACT Bowling Night fundraiser is May 18 in South Lake Tahoe. The $20 per person fee supports Animal Coalition of Tahoe’s spay-neuter program and the animal shelter in Meyers. Teams must enter by May 12. Fill out this
