The Douglas County Public Library Lake Tahoe branch celebrates the Summer Reading Program with stories and crafts on June 18 at 1:30pm.
Miss Carol will read stories about sunshine and Father’s Day. Children ages 3 and up will make a craft; young children should be accompanied by an adult.

BLS CPR class on July 12 from 5:30–9:00pm. Cost is $50 for this one evening class. Fee includes manual.
This course is geared for the general public, covering the 30:2 CPR for adults, children and infants, AED, airway, masks and choking.
With successful completion, students will receive a two-year CPR certificate.

The eighth annual Corvettes at Lake Tahoe car show is June 18–19 at MontBleu in Stateline.
It is free.
Corvettes will be on display from 3–7pm Friday and 8am-5pm Saturday.

Caregiving is a difficult and often challenging role that one can undertake, and taking the opportunity to share information and feel connected to others who are providing care is a vital step to perform this task to the best of your ability. Take the opportunity on July 8 from 5:30-7:30pm at South Lake Tahoe Senior Center 3050 Highway 50, South Lake Tahoe to become connected and rejuvenated at your local support group.
