I’ve enjoyed the entire Todd Borg’s Owen McKenna mystery series. What better book to take to a Tahoe beach? You could be at an actual location in one of the books.

Books are too good, and some just can’t handle the truth,it might conflict on their image.
When you ask dumb question, you get dumb answers.

Those Jr. High English grammar and spelling books were one heck of a hilarious joke! Naomi Klein’s “Shock Doctrine” from a couple years ago is proven to be so painfully true day after day. It’s hard to face up to our collective failure but it’s not too late.

Last week I read James Patterson’s latest: Private: #1 Suspect and Private Games. Private Games is a mystery surrounding the Olympic games in London, so very timely and a really good page turner!

Yesterday I just checked out his “11th Hour.”

    Patterson never disappoints!

“Shock Doctrine” by Naomi Klein is excellent. A bit depressing but it’s the real deal. Almost anything by Steven King, his early stuff is the best. As a childhood favorite Ray Bradbury was tops. In my 20’s Franz Kaffka and H.P.Lovecraft were my favorites. Strange days indeed!
    Take care, Old Long Skiis

I’m a huge Patterson fan, too. His Alex Cross series is great!
