5 million people left Calif. in the last decade

An unprecedented number of Californians left for other states during the last decade, according to new tax return data from the Internal Revenue Service.
About 5 million Californians left between 2004 and 2013. Roughly 3.9 million people came here from other states during that period, for a net population loss of more than 1 million people.
Told ya, Prunes. The productive people are leaving. The only growth this state is experiencing is in government jobs and the dependant class. Those taking government handouts. What happens when the money runs out?
And they’re still leaving. A family can’t usually up and leave in a couple of weeks. Took us 4 years of planning to get it done.
If you folks don’t wise up and stop financing every hare-brained scheme your governor comes up with, you won’t even get to keep half of what you earn. How you gonna pay a mortgage/car payment/utility bill on that?
I think they moved in next door.
5 million people left Calif? How many have left South Lake Tahoe? How many empty homes on your street? How much crimial activity has increased in your neighborhood with grow houses, drug sales and gangs roaming the streets? No wonder people are leaving! No work, closing of schools, post offices and lots of empty buildings along hwy.50 and Harrahs and Harveys facing bankruptiicy inte court.
Lets hope for a good winter and a boost to our economy and enviornment.

And these are not even current numbers. The real numbers are larger. You have a corrupt bunch of liberals in power who are passing every crazy law they can dream up that kills business and raises costs for consumers while the cost of living and real estate keeps doubling and tax payers keep leaving. Meanwhile the poverty rate from open borders keeps rising and the costs are rising and the result will be a two class failed state and the middle class will soon be gone. Time for a new north state to be withdrawn from a failed state.

Cali is getting perilously close to “running out of other peoples’ money”, has reached the tipping point in their grand Socialist experiment & it’s failing miserably. When the collapse comes, the rest of us will be forced to bail them out via the Feds. I just wish politicians in other places could see that the rest of the country is heading the same way under the fanatical left wing Socialists currently in power. You couldn’t pay me enough to ever return to Cali.

I lived in California for 40 years. I left last November to get away from the left wing liberals who have ruined this state. The north state counties are still very conservative and will continue their work towards a new state. At the same time the rest of the state will continue to decline into poverty. All in the north state should encourage those liberals who moved here and are ducks out of water to return home to the Bay where they came from.

Biggerpicture. According to the online “debt clock,” California currently owes around $428,655,328,000 (it changes by the minute), or about $11,048 per resident. Sure, the state had a $8 Billion surplus this year (or about $206 per resident), but the special interests in Sacramento are already plotting on how to divide the spoils. If I owed $11,048 on my credit card after paying a $206 bill would I feel good? Well, maybe. But the fact remains, like the Golden State, I would still be deep in debt. “Debt is the slavery of the people” (Publilius Syrus – 1st century Roman writer). Some things never change.
Nature bats last days; “You are a complete idiot.” And to You Biggerpicture; If you ever become an accountant, you can do my books and turn my credit card debits into a credit.

If the biggest quest in your life is to pay as few taxes than, by all means, go live where that is the case. If you have interest in living in a state that requires everyone to have a gun, go for it.
