Native Species Festival

The U.S. Forest Service Lake Tahoe Basin Management Unit hosts the fourth annual Native Species Festival from 10am-4pm on May 30 at the Taylor Creek Visitor Center.

Visit educational booths set up by public agencies and nonprofits to learn more about Lake Tahoe’s native plants and animals, including black bears, bats, beaver, and Tahoe yellow cress.
