· Sen. Dianne Feinstein, D-Calif., this week secured the transfer of seven C-130 air tankers for CalFire to use fighting wildfires.
· Steve Teshara has been named president of the California Association of Councils of Governments’ (CALCOG) board of directors. Teshara represents the Tahoe Transportation District on CALCOG’s board and also serves as chair of TTD’s board of directors.
