·      The Pony Express Trail through El Dorado County will be closed April 9-27 for the falling and removal of designated dead and dying trees.

·      Anyone wishing to be apply to be on the Lake Tahoe Humane Society’s board of directors may pick up an application on April 7 from 5-6pm at the office on Emerald Bay Road.

·      The South Lake Tahoe City Council on April 3 approved an ordinance to regulate the use and sale of expanded polystyrene (also called EPS, white plastic foam and Styrofoam) food containers and products in the city.
