Fire destroys Tahoe City house

Fire destroyed a vacant Tahoe City house on Thursday morning.

By the time North Tahoe Fire Protection District firefighters arrived at about 5:50am Nov. 17 the house was fully engulfed with flames, and power lines were down.

The house on the corner of Sequoia Avenue and Highway 89 was a vacation home, according to officials.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
