Reno man arrested in murder near Truckee

The Reno man accused of shooting a woman to death and leaving her body under an overpass near Truckee is due in court May 12 after not entering a plea earlier this month.

Maurice Di Aundra Rogers, 33, is being held without bail in the murder of Felicia Romaine Spruell-Jones, 46, of Reno. Her body was found April 4 about 6:20am under the Interstate 80 overpass at Farad.

Detectives are still trying to determine if she died there or someplace as well, as well what the relationship between the two was.
