Avalanche workshop at LTCC

Lake Tahoe Community College is going to be the site of an all-day avalanche workshop on Oct. 17.

The California Avalanche Workshop is a pre-season gathering of snow travelers to share knowledge, learn, laugh, and network. This seminar is modeled after the International Snow Science Workshop and other regional one-day snow and avalanche workshops throughout the west.

The event is from 9am-4pm. Cost is $20.
