Squaw replacing Siberia chairlift

One of Squaw Valley’s most popular chairlifts is going from a four-pack to a six-pack this summer.

Siberia Express is being converted to the larger capacity lift in time for the 2015-16 season.

The ski resort said the new chairlift will improve reliability, efficiency and operational effectiveness. It is being designed to handle winds better. The current lift is often not operating on windy days.
