Family hopes son’s drowning prevents more deaths

The father of a UNR football player who drowned in Lake Tahoe wants his son’s death to send a powerful message of safety on the water.
Marc Ma, 20, was recovered in the water off the Homewood shore last week, after going missing in June 2016 during a paddleboarding trip with friends.
The Nevada Wolf Pack defensive lineman was not wearing a life jacket.
