A 61-year-old man died in a single-vehicle rollover accident in Markleeville on July 3.

The Moundhouse resident was driving a Ford pickup east on Airport Road when he drifted off the pavement at about 3:30pm.

The vehicle went down a steep dirt embankment and then flipped onto the roof. The driver died at the scene.

The man’s name has not been released.
