Some communities have a secured RX drop box at their Police Departments. Every police department should have one of these, expired or unused prescriptions can be dropped off & the stuff picked up monthly or so. Really, no cost to do this! The community announces it semi-annually (can be City email listserv or Park & Rec program materials, utility bills, etc.)
