To be considered for the competition, filmmakers must submit an original video up to 90 minutes in length and in DVD format by Dec. 1.

The film should illustrate global awareness and diversity, along with an understanding of social issues facing humanity. It must also include a significant degree of film craft. Films may take many formats – narrative, documentary, live-action or animation.

There is an entry fee of $25 ($10 for students). Monetary prizes will also be awarded.

Entry forms are online.
