I believe Nevada relies on Gaming Revenue for most of it’s budget. The Governor of Nevada has had to cut Eduction spending as a result of drops in Gaming Revenue and I understand he is proposing more cuts. The average Teacher Salary is $55k per year; which is about the national average. But, the average Stripper can make double that per year. Priorities?

There have been no actual “cuts” in elementary or high school education in NV, only college level. And in northern NV, the teachers average salaries are actually higher than in the rest of the country. Down south, the salary is slightly lower.
But strippers don’t have the outrageously good health, vacation, and retirement benefits that teachers get, either.
Before choosing a vocation, one needs to decide on their own priorities.
