Victims of CPS seek class-action lawsuit participants
Letter to the community,
Tahoe Victims of CPS has joined together with families on the West Slope of El Dorado County to form the El Dorado County Victims of CPS. All parties involved are either advocates for CPS reform, or families that have had their constitutional rights violated by CPS.
First and foremost, we do not want any more children removed from innocent parents; but we also want to ensure that social workers employed by Child Protective Services’ Investigative Unit have the proper training.
We have heard from numerous parties in the community that social workers are hired off the street with no training, and the funding is not available to properly train these social workers. So what we have are employees of the county that enter people’s homes by intimidating them, and removing children without a search warrant. Not only are the families traumatized by these actions, but also social workers then falsify the facts in their report to the court to cover up their illegal activities, a fact confirmed by a number of court-appointed family court attorneys.
Law enforcement, whom we support whole-heartedly, has somehow been misinformed that they need to support these illegal acts. We encourage all law enforcement officials called to a home by a social worker, to ask where the search warrant is, unless exigent circumstances exist that put the child in harm’s way. We do not want our wonderful law enforcement members, or even social workers for that fact, leaving themselves open to criminal prosecution and civil lawsuits.
El Dorado County is a great place to live, but as residents, we need to live here without the fear of renegade social workers misinterpreting the Child Welfare Codes, which were written to protect children from gross neglect, abuse, and possible death. We want our county’s CPS to be the model that other counties and states can mirror.
We are inviting any resident of El Dorado County, past and present, to write us with their experiences of violations by Child Protective Services and their interest in a class-action lawsuit against Child Protective Services for violation of their constitutional rights, namely the 4th and 14th Amendments.â€

REALLY?! I think I’ll go hang out in the streets near the county building and see if they scoop me up and give ME a job!
How absurd.
It’s about time that citizens from the south slope of the County fight back against the once well intentioned but now out of control Child Protective Services.It’s frightening how CPS can investigate anyone based on just an anonymous tip,then with just hearsay evidence from anonymous witnesses that you dont have a right to confront along with some distorted and often fabricated evidence go to court and seize your children. To top it off the court is a modern day kangaroo court held in secret. New York ,two other states and the entire country of Great Britain have opened their child dependency courts due to grave miscarriages of justice. Sadly California still has these frightening Un- American secret courts. Some people falsly claim that secrecy protects the children but history proves just the opposite.I urge every concerned citizen to contact the Board of supervisors and their state representatives to adopt the “Parents Bill of Rights ” as proposed by our very own local christian based Tahoe Victims of CPS.Let’sstop the out of control CPS from destroying more children and parents lives than they help!

Well this also obviously means to otherwise harm children. In our community many children are being harmed by Child Protective Services (CPS).This once well intentioned agency is now out of control and harming more children and parents than it helps.
Re cently in the news was an example where over zealous CPS case workers seized a christian couples child because the couple took pictures of their baby playing in the bath tub. CPS claimed this was child porn and held the child in a dangerous foster home for over a year. The parents as is right are now suing.
This is just one of countless stories of frightening CPS abuse . In a local Tahoe case a courageous christian attorney called in court the CPS case worker that was also trying to destroy the lives of a christian mother and child “the devil incarnate “. Well it did no good as the probably athiest judge rubber stamped another CPS attrocity.Did you know that under present law CPS investigates anyone based on just an anonymous tip,then can seize your child based on hearsay from anonymous witnesses which you dont have a right to confront plus distorted or fabricated evidence in a modern day kangaroo like secret dependency court. Yes, frightening but true unlike in N EW YORK California still has secret courts for child dependency cases.They falsely claim that a secret court protects children.Proof is otherwise.
Please do the right christian thing by calling and writing the following politicians to demand that they endorse and adopt the proposed “Parents Bill of Rights ” as proposed by our christian based Tahoe Victims of CPS.

Thank you for publishing this letter. The term “off the streets” means that a social worker may have a college degree, but no previous experience, and with no internal funds available for training, you end up with social workers interpreting the laws themselves. CPS needs to ensure all social workers investigating allegations be well-trained.Social workers need to understand the meaning and intent of the laws, and not operate under the color of authority.
I have 2 different cases.1 of my cases ended in 2007(only because i proved CPS wrong and they decided to give my daughter back, but in June of 2008; my baby girl Luckie Jane Mills was giving me problems and wouldn’t attend school. So the school contacted me and told me that Luckie wasn’t attending all her classes and that if she missed any more classes that I would called to court for Luckie’s absences and that I was looking at jail a fine or jail time.So I asked them , what was the best solution at that time.I was told that I needed to put an incouragable on (basically a complaint of Luckie’s behavior) Luckie would probably go to JDC for 45 days.So this happened but the next thing I knew CPS decided to start a case on me saying that i had too many people staying with me and that i needed to remove these people. after that was done than the list became longer,during this time Luckie ran from CPS and came back to me.To make things worst noone contacted me for at least a week to tell me that Luckie ran.Finally her caseworker shows up and decide to tell me.I contacted my lawyer but of course she didn’t do anything or even to bring up CPS wrong doing. I knew that CPS would send out an officer for my child, so i had explain to Luckie that i had to send her back because we could get caught and that i could lose her forever. I hate that I did that because Luckie ran again this time they took her out of town(Orangeburg,SC)we are from Columbia,SC. Luckie end up pregnant in the system and when she turned herself they didn’t contact me. I was lucky to still have contact with Luckie the whole time or I would have never known anything about my daughter. As a matter of fact CPS didn’t understand how I knew things that they did/didn’t do.This time was she was in custody of CPS; Luckie’s caseworker(Irlene Williams) put in Charleston(a place for young pregnant teens)but Irlene lied to the staff and told them that she was Luckie’s mother and told Luckie not to contact me or tell me where she was(of course that didn’t happen).Luckie’s guardian an litem wasn’t notify about the findings of Luckie and was never told that she was in a home for pregnant teenagers in Charleston,SC 29403. Now Luckie is in Aiken SC at Helping Hands. She hasn’t seen HER caseworker in a month now(Irlene W. won’t return Luckie’s calls,mine calls, or family members.Luckie’s guardian an Litem has been to see her or my new granddaughter Jayana and Luckie hasn’t received counseling either. I know that I have an lawsuit but I can’t afford a lawyer, if anyone can jelp I would really appreciate all the help that i can get.THANK FOR LISTENING. I WISH EVERYONE THE BEST.

My wife and I have been victims of CPS. We live at Pollock Pines and had CPS enter our home and investigate us for an allegation of Physical, Mental, abuse on our (then) 4 year old daughter. And, that we were using narcotics and alcohol. We felt pressured to take their drug and 80 hour alcohol test which was completed by EDCA, and all test came back negative. They found no physical abuse on our daughter, and she was (and still is) as happy as a button.We had to go to CPS a number of times and demand the Director give us a letter dropping us from their case laod, and appealled the behavior of one of the two workers who entered our home. Nothing has happened about that to our knowledge. We did receive a letter dropping us from their case load yet they committed Libal appearing to downgrade my wife in the letter. We asked the Director to give us the name of the person who made these false allegations and/or press charges against them because in the California Penal Code it stipulates anyone who makes a false report of a crime must be punished and she said flat out “I’M NOT GOING TO DO THAT”. Note: they have a confidentiality clause for anyone who reports a allegation of child abuse; none the less, that clause is void once someone comitts a crime against the Ca. P.C. We possess the letter CPS gave us dropping the case and both our drug and alcohol test. I also want to make a note; the worker who first came refused to say who was at the door when my wife repeatedly asked. We would like your reply to this because we do disire to punish the person who made the false report and CPS for failing to enforce the law. We can’t has people making false calles to law-enforcement and the Chain-of-Custody invading our childrens innocense as if it were true. The worker even manipulated my wife who was in another room to sign a waiver so he could retrieve all her Confidential Medical Files at the E.D.C. Mental Health Department for thew next year, and I explained that she did’nt have to do that and Menatl Health cooperated in our behalf.

The comment about it being a closed door, kangaroo court is all too true. They didn’t even want to let family stay in the court room while they discussed adopting out our children siting reasons like we are too poor to afford them, I crashed 2 cars and we moved to Nevada as the most recient excuses in a long list of bull that have allowed them to keep our kids away for the past 18 months.
MY GOD! is there NO end to this?
My Grandson was ALSO taken by El Dorado County C.P.S., 21 months ago. There have been NO viable signs of attemped “Family Reunification”. To the contrary, C.P.S. has gone to great lengths to “Demonize” both parents and place ALL focus on a forced adoption by the current foster family. NO attempt on their part, (CPS), to contact extended family members.
I am really confused! The U.S.A. that I was born into, (71 years ago), has ALWAYS stood for the biological parent. Except for cases where ongoing, physical or mental harm was demonstated, the BIOLOGICAL parent TRUMPS ALL.

I was not only abused by the system I was an employee for 6 1/2 years. Contact me for at legnth interview. These people are told to lie, remove notes from files before they go to court because it might make the parent look good, etc. I sued them years ago and ready to sue again. They placed my kids with a father that did not know them or have a relationship and in fact had a NO VISITATION order. This jerk then hurt both kids with a belt and molested my daughter. They ahve done everything they can to see him not prosecuted for this offense because it will be very bad for them. At NO time did they listen to the kids about how dad made them lie and ere on witch hunt to get me because of an earlier lawsuit
cps has stole the ai i breath, they came in to our happy healthy home stole my 3 girls. never being in trouble at all to haveing my intire reson to breathe torn from me.all on alligations. i unable to hire attorny no money.is there anyone who will help bring my girls home
