Rise to be president of STPUD

At the Dec. 17 South Tahoe Public Utility District board meeting Dale Rise became president on a 3-2 vote. Mary Lou Mosbacher became vice president with the same vote tally.

Board members Jim Jones and Eric Schafer voted against both appointments.

Rise had been vice president and Mosbacher president for the last year.

   Now I’ve seen everything. They should install metal detectors at the door to check for Tasers.
